Adult Ministries

Following the worship service on Sunday morning, the pastor leads a Bible study or class for adults who wish to deepen their faith and understanding of God's Word and the Christian faith. In the class, the group may study a book of the Bible or explore a topic of interest and value to the faith and life of a Christian.

A local group of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), an official auxiliary of the LCMS, meets regularly on the first Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. The group's mission is to "joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others." In addition to gathering to raise monetary support for the Church's missions, the monthly meeting includes a topical Bible study from the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly. The study lasts about an hour and is led by the pastor.

The "Man Up! Men's Retreat" is a 24-hour, overnight retreat held at Camp Omega in early March. Several pastors from the LCMS Minnesota South District organize this event. More than simply provide a short break from the regular routines and burdens of daily life, the goal of this retreat is to have menโ€™s faith strengthened and spirits renewed by Godโ€™s Word. In addition to devotional messages, worship, and prayer, the retreat offers ample free time for relaxation, fellowship, and recreational activities such as ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.ย
